In order to create a new asset from scratch, there are several possibilities.
Starting with the simplest:
From the browse page, select the asset’s type
Then click the ‘new’ button:
You’ll then need to give it a name, and optionally tags, then click ‘create’:
You can now fill in the parameters (you can leave some blank), then click insert in order to finish the process.
Navigate to an asset of the type that you want to create. If I want to create a new Comp.Gyroscone, I’ll find an alreday existing one, then click on the new button at the right of the screen below the thumbnail:
Then follow the same process as above.
The last option is to create the asset from the TypeDefinition document page of the type that you want to create, using the button at the bottom left of the screen below the thumbnail:
